Biography:
Dave is the firm founder, and senior counsel at English Law. Dave has been practicing law since 1975, with a specialization in Corporate Law. Dave served as in-house counsel and senior legal advisor for a Nova Scotia Band for many years, and oversaw all of their corporate transactions and acquisitions.
Dave is a current member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, Canadian Bar Association. Dave is a former member of: Bar Council; chairman of the NS Bar Societies Unauthorized Practices Committee; former president of the Hants County Bar Association; former chairman of the Aboriginal Section of the CBA; former board director of Dartmouth’s Bridgeway Academy; past president of Alpine Ski Nova Scotia; and a founding member of the Martock Alpine Ski Race organization.
